Holiday Update + HOLLER

Today, I had a sudden urge to revisit the old posts in my blog.
After reading only a few of my old posts, I sincerely apologise to everyone who had been following my blog since then.
I WAS SO CHILDISH OMG.
My reaction throughout the posts were like :

It was good tho in some parts, it was like walking through memory lane.
There were some posts where I recorded myself being sad or angry but now that I read back, I honestly can't remember why or what happened.
In just a few years time, it didn't really matter anymore.
This is like a reminder to me to not fret about most things because honestly, in five years time, which of it will really matter anyways?

The holidays are going on really quietly & I'm totally loving it.
Most of the days, mummy has to work late and Pui Ee comes home late from school as well so I cook myself and eat dinner myself.
Sure, it gets very quiet sometimes but it's pretty ideal.
I just hope the holidays would slow down and stop slipping away so quickly.
I'm so not looking forward to go back to school.

On a happier note, TaeTiSeo has finally made a comeback with Holler !

This comeback is rather stronger than most of the veteran comebacks in 2014 so I hope they will do well on the digital charts and other award shows.

you didn't honestly think i would end this post without a picture of my bias right ?
bah, thumbs down to you.
thumbs up to her.

August Bumps.

Last month was seriously an emotional roller coaster for me.

I didn't realise at that time how wretched I was until I looked back at it .
I was an emotional wreck.

It all started when my grandpa begun his chemotherapy .
The day he got his first dose of chemo,  my entire brain will thinking of how all the possibilities although my body was physically in school.
I wasn't too worried then tho because the chemotherapy isn't too lethal.
Perhaps I was worried about the side effects but after calling him after school ended, it seemed that his symptoms weren't as bad as I imagined.
My fourth uncle suffered from cancer as well so I understood the symptoms of chemotherapy and my grandpa had it better than my uncle. (tho still, it's just the first dose)

I didn't realise that deep inside, I was dead worried about my grandpa's health.
To the point, the same night my grandpa did his first chemotherapy, I had a nightmare that my grandpa died.
I woke up at 5:30 am that morning (I haven't woke up that early for school since Form 1) and I found it impossible to go back to sleep.
I didn't realise it at that time but when I looked back,
I realised that I was more worried than I thought.

but that period passed and my grandpa's first try in chemotherapy went considerably fine.

Then came the second blow.
My Bell Bell was diagnosed with a malignant tumor in her mouth and it was confirmed cancer.

As I waited with Bell at the veterinarian for her turn, I stared at her and I can't imagine her having a tumor in her.
She was so energetic and constantly trying to either eat the "in-her-opinion" annoying cat or sniffing other dogs.
I always have this sick thought whenever I enter the vet with Bell that I will never have my dog back.
It seemed very reasonable to think so because I can't remember a time when Bell wasn't sick.
Finally it was Bell's turn to be examined and the doctor had to sedate her because she hated the doctor wayy too much.
The doctor examined the tumor and that was the first time I had a close view of a real life tumor.
It was nothing pleasant, I assure you.
The first thing I thought when I peeked into Bell's mouth was, "Man, Bell needs to brush her teeth".
I know, sick humor.

Then, the doctor said there was really no way but to cut the tumor out because it was growing rapidly and soon enough, the tumor will grow too big that she can no longer swallow her food.
There were two options available, a normal surgery or a laser surgery.
However, the laser surgery was just too expensive and there was no other choice but a normal surgery.
The normal surgery had more risk of blood loss but it was a lot more affordable.
We couldn't afford to wait any longer to do the surgery because of the rapid growth of the tumor.

At that point, I was already crying.
My brain was processing a lot of ridiculous thoughts, "What if Bell dies of blood loss?", that sort of thoughts.
It was the longest hour ever.

Don't mistaken me, I don't cry easily in public.
but there are things that I can't stand and this is one of it.
Someone I love dying, even the thought of it is terrible.

Now that it's over, I'm just so glad and I hope for a better September.

Merdeka Raya 2014 ♥

After a long long longg day, here I am.
GIVE ME A CLAP.

What happened today ?
Merdeka Raya celebration happened today !
Last year, I went wearing a Cheongsam so this year, I opt to wear a baju kurung.
and boy did I feel glad.

(excuse the messy room, i mess up everything when i am in a hurry especially in the morning)

I borrowed this beautiful modern baju kurung from Jazlynn so special shoutout to my her,
Thanks for the attire , it was seriously pretty !

This lady here lend me the beautiful baju kurung I wore today.
Kudos to her.

The morning started with an event to bid farewell to Puan Atikah who was moving away to another school.
Followed by a 'supposedly' study period until 10 o'clock which consists of us migrating constantly from one class to another, chatting, wasting time and wandering around.

When 10 o'clock striked, all the students went downstairs and the jamuan (feast) begins.
and the jamuan was a major turnoff.
I'm not even gonna lie or sugarcoat anything because the Merdeka Raya this year was honestly one of the worst our school has ever done.
Last year was so much better because at least we had performances to pass time and also, we were allowed to bring cameras to take pictures.
This year, the teachers were super mean and they confisticated most of the phones and cameras.
Thankfully, I got away safely with more than 100 photos. (because i'm awesome, cewahh)

Honestly tho, I get why you won't allow the students to bring phones to school.
Maybe you are afraid they will watch porn or something but WHY NOT CAMERAS ?
and if you are going to ban phones and cameras, at least make sure we have some entertainment for the rest of the three hours because with not even a single performance, what are we suppose to do if we aren't going to go on a camera frenzy ?
Everyone was dressed so beautifully today, can't we just take a few pictues without fearing for our cameras' life?

Man, I could start a national debate on this.

The food wasn't too great either.
The nasi lemak was finished by the time it was my turn to get my food on my plate and I only got one spoon of bihun, one piece of watermelon, one piece of rice kuih and another piece of kuih.
I was still hungry but there didn't seem to be enough for the others so I didn't want to ask.
Gosh, even the water finished when I wanted to have some.
Is there anything that was there when I needed it?

but enough with the complaints because the beautiful pictures I managed to get away with are more than enough to pacify me.
I don't hold a grudge or anything, (but I seriously wanted to hit someone when my friend's phone got confisticated), I just hope that Merdeka Raya next year will be more fun like last year instead of continuous rules that makes the students dull and solemn and tears (yes, i saw students crying when their phones/cameras got taken away even tho the jamuan was already over and everyone was leaving the school compound)
That was one mean prefect and I hope the birds poops on you the next time you walk out of the house.
We are just kids tryna have some fun seriously, give us a break !

so I basically travelled the entire school looking for people to take pictures with because I had nothing to do.
Besides, with the prefects prowling around the area searching for phones/cameras, I felt like a ninja.
w/ David, the new exchange student from Italy.
because it wouldn't be right eh to not snap a picture with him.

It seems to be a new trend to cover your mouth and give an electric stare to the camera.
So I rode the waves.
HA!

Seeeeee.
I was walking out of the school compound and about to walk to Rafa's house when I saw this dude wearing sleaveless behind me.
SELFIE OPPORTUNITY DUH.
How often do you see a student walking out of school in a sleaveless?
0.0001% in my school.
so I'm like, "Hi Lee, you look hot. Let's take a selfie".

After school, around 11 of us walked to Rafa's house for a Hari Raya open house.
That's the first time I realised, places are a lot closer when you are in a moving-four-wheeled vehicle.

Us walking to the house.

The food at Rafa's house tasted like heaven to me.
or because it was because I was starving from the lack of food at a "jamuan" and the long walk.
Spent nearly three hours just hanging around and taking pictures in her house.
It was a great gathering for us .

Most of everyone slowly went home after the two hours mark and the rest went to join another open house which was Naufal's.
I was invited as well but I had Accounts class so I couldn't join the fun :(

I look so .. "poyo".

I have no idea why, but I'm in love with this specific picture.
Why tho ?

Overall, it was a day well spent & tho there were some frustrations and disappointments at some point, if there are no ups and downs in life, that practically means you're dead.
Let's pray that the next (and my final) Merdeka Raya for next year will be a lot more awesome and better than this year ! ♥

Greetings from 4 Bakti 2014 ! ♥
